Myrtle Merrett is the President of our Loyal Workers. She was not present at their founding but serves as the matriarch of our congregation! What a joy it is to know her!
This weekend our church celebrated our 151st birthday, but also celebrated the Centennial of our Loyal Workers. This group of women, which started as a Bible study, has grown into one of the most vital core groups in our church.
They are a reminder of what a dangerous thing it is to actually read the Bible, and then live it! They are a living reminder of the good that can occur when we free women to live out their calling and their faith!
