The theme of this adventure! I used this in my last sermon in Charleston and my first in Port Williams.

This year Port Williams United Baptist Church is celebrating 150 years of ministry in the Annapolis Valley. Just another reason to come and join the party!

These are the kind of sunsets we saw in our former life—warm breezes, down on the river.

In Wolfville we have gorgeous sunrises over the water. It’s just that the water is in the form of snow!

Baxter Harbor is also on the Bay of Fundy which has the highest tides in the world. You can see the difference in other pictures.

It looks like Bedford Falls in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” but it really is Wolfville the week before Christmas.

The one thing Alison wanted to see during her visit was a whale. These incredible creatures did not disappoint!

A UNESCO Historic site and one of our favorite communities on the South Shore

One of the most photographed sites in Nova Scotia, and I understand why! Come see us and we will go visit!

Yes, we really do have the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and they really do wear their red serge on special occasions! This is from the Apple Blossom Festival Parade

On the South Shore. Just an idyllic tiny community, and yes, the rocks do look blue! So do your lips if you go in January!

After 20 years in Charleston I had almost forgotten that leaves turn colors! And what colors!

The beauty comes in so many places on Cape Breton!

Neither could we! Even thought the Skyline Trail was closed due to too many “frisky moose!” First time in 40 years it has been closed. Next time!

It looks like you might just slide into the Bay of Fundy, and on a snowy day you just might!

No plowing now, but just wait a bit…

The Arts Council adds these pieces of art in out of the way places to invite us to see art everywhere—even on the side of a barn!

Can you see why the Indigenous people thought that was the home of God? Wouldn’t you live there if you could?

It is not Peggy’s Cove, but it is a wonderful location, just outside Digby. So if you are getting your scallops take a quick detour!

This roadside attraction outside Berkeley Springs, WV is so worth a visit! Where else can you see these relics?

A visit to the capital wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the embassy. Talk about confusion!
