Peace.
It is there on our tree, an ornament that is the prayer of our world.
It is there, but you have to look carefully to see it. It is almost hidden among the other ornaments decorating our tree—memories of trips, handmade children ornaments, mementos of years gone by. They are the ones that catch your eye. Peace??? It can get lost.
The same thing is true in our world. So often peace, as much as we want it, gets crowded out. Which leads us to the question of our sermon this week.
