Praise seems to come easy when things are good, or especially right after a crisis has passed. But what about when things are not so good, when your heart is broken, when your body is stressed, when your soul is in a dark dark place? In those times praise is not the word that springs from our mouths!
But maybe that is precisely the time when we need honest praise—praise that doesn’t shy away from our pain and trouble, but also give radical audacious hope for the way we faith life will be.
