Talk about a sermon swimming upstream!
I grew up in a church where we always had a hymn at the end of the service inviting, imploring, begging people to join the church! But those days are gone, at least in Canada. So does it matter if you are a “member of a church?”
Much of the evidence says no, but this sermon takes the stand that it really does matter—to you, to the world.
