I had the honor of preaching at Millbrook Baptist Church in Raleigh last week. Like my former church in Port Williams, NS they are in an interim time, wondering and searching for what comes next.
The lectionary passage seemed to fit—the story of Elijah after his great victory on Mt. Carmel.
We are always living in “in-between times.” Hopefully there is a word here for us all!
