This morning my news feed was filled with images not of the war in Ukraine or the bank failures in the US or even the dust storm in Illinois! Oh there were a few of those, but the REALLY BIG news was from the Met Gala!
There were hundreds of pictures of celebrities decked out in their “finest.”
Which got me to thinking.
Why don’t we have those events for the church?
Runway events for ministers.
A one time a year when they can pull out their finest and most elaborate to….well, just to show off!
And why can’t we have an Emmy/Grammy/Oscar/Tony event where we celebrate the best of the preceding year?

Oh the categories are almost endless! Which can you imagine.
It could be televised on TBN, CBN, EWTN, or maybe even CMT!
It is time to think outside the box!
