What is the cross you are willing to die on?
That is a question I often ask myself. Is there something that I am willing to die for. Chance are that will never happen, but is there something for which I am willing to lose my job over? Is there a line that I am just unwilling to cross, something about which I just cannot be silent It is a hard question, and one which I struggle with on a regular basis.
But Jesus says that when we decide to follow him we have to like a seed that is placed in the ground to die. I don’t think he was talking after this life, but now. Here is my sermon for today. Let me know what you think.
