The world held its breath this past week as we waited for the verdict in the Derek Chauvin case. He is the officer accused of killing George Floyd. The case set off protest around the world.
But without Darnella Frazier it is very likely that none of this would have happened. She was the young girl who recorded the video seen round the world.
What courage it took for her not only to post it, but then to testify in court. She told what she had sccn, what she had experienced.
That is what Peter did that day before the council. He boldly spoke the truth he knew, he had experienced. What would happen if we did the same? Maybe we need to be “filled with the Holy Spirit.”
