Let’s admit it. No one likes a stewardship sermon—congregants nor preachers! It is the most enjoyable service of the year.
So could we make it more fun? What about changing up the process, how we raise money? After all, isn’t that what it’s all about?
My mentor Hardy Clemons always reminded us “Stewardship is not the way the church raises money. It is God’s way of raising children.”
